I've been craving sweets lately but wanted to snack on something a bit healthier than ice cream. Chocolate covered cherries was an easy idea that popped into my head that didn't require much time or effort. They turned out so cute and yummy!
You don't need any fancy ingredients for this recipe. I purchased these cherries from my local farmers market and stoped at Whole Foods for the semi-sweet dark chocolate. I added some vanilla extract to the melted chocolate to give it additional flavor. Wash and dry your cherries, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, dip the cherries with the stems on in melted chocolate, and pop them in the fridge. These really turned out to make a tasty bite and hey you are still craving ice cream you can even use them to top a sundae :)
