Play It Safe In The Sun!

It’s so important to protect your skin when you're going to be in the sun. After all, more than 1 million new cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the U.S. every year. To protect yourself from the dangers of skin cancer (and wrinkles) the most important thing you can do for your skin health is to wear sunscreen every day.

When shopping for sunscreen, it's important to make sure that the sunscreen you're putting on your skin is safe. Most conventional sunscreens on the market contain the suspect ingredient oxybenzone, a chemical that toxicology experts believe to be a hormone disruptor which damages cells and potentially messes with the development of children. The Environmental Working Group says that 56 % of beach and sport sunscreens contain the chemical oxybenzone!
