Shake Your Shamrocks! St. Patricks Day Smoothie

I'm not Irish. I'm far far from it... BUT I can make a mean healthy Shamrock Shake! This is one of my favorite green smoothie recipes and the good news is, you don't only have to save it for St. Patricks Day. This is insanely delicious, the color is beautiful and all natural, the flavors are bold, creamy, and refreshing. This recipe will definitely have you shaking your shamrocks! 

RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 handful raw cashews
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 drops of mint stevia extract 
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • Raw Cacao Nibs for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add all ingredients, except cacao nibs, to high speed blender. Blend on high until completely smooth. If the mixture is too thick, adjust by adding a bit of filtered water or more almond milk. Serve in two glasses. Garnish with cacao nibs or fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!
